Hello, my name is Brit and I've been tutoring English as a Second Language for eight years. I teach a variety of ages and academic levels, ranging from preschool-aged children to college-level learners. Additionally, I volunteer online and for my community by tutoring for low-income families and students with special needs. I have taken and passed a 120 Hour TEFL Certification with a 99% accuracy score. English is my native language, and my CEFR score is C2 Proficient. Teaching allows me to share my love of the English language and I hope it will help to open the minds and doors of opportunity for all of my students. Outside of teaching and tutoring, I enjoy spending time with my husband and our children, who are six and three years old. My favorite activities to do with my family include preparing meals together, reading to each other, and going on nature walks together with our beloved dog, Sam. I also enjoy writing short stories, listening to music, and working on new photography shots.
